Merle was born in Northern California on April 1, 2016. He spent the first ten weeks of his life in a foster home until his mom Jessica adopted him through NorCal Bully Breed Rescue. Upon his adoption, he and Jessica became instant, inseparable best friends. Merle has gone everywhere with his mom, and he even helped her study for the bar exam! Shortly after his mom finished school, he became a child of divorce. Luckily, Jessica won that custody battle due to her excellent skill and expertise in family law. Now, Merle comes to work with Jessica everyday and helps her fight custody battles for clients of Barber Law Group!

Merle has a very important job at the law firm and wears many hats including but not limited to the following: emotional support giver, client comforter, snack eater, belly rub receiver, sunbather, executor of zoomies, and professional nap taker. When Merle isn’t working, he loves walking and hiking, destroying stuffies, going to the park, taking rides in the car, eating pup cups, and cuddling with his family.
